Afghanistan
is a large country located in central Asia. It shares borders
with Tajikistan,Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to the north,Iran in
west, Pakistan in east and south and it is also shares a border with
both China and India (because of Kashmir issue between Pakistan and
India).Its capital is Kabul.
Afghanistan has a total area of 652,225 km².
It has a total population of 32
million people,
including Afghani Refugees in both Pakistan and Iran. The currency of
Afghanistan is called the Afghani. Afghanistan has a dry or arid
climate and there are hot summers and cold winters. It has a
mountainous and hilly terrain.
Males
usually wear kufi, Peshawari cap,turban, sindhi cap or pakul as
traditional headgear. Leaders sometimes wear a karakul hat, like the
rulers and monarchs of burqa or a niqab or a chador over an abaya all
day, or they wear a traditional dress. TheWomen wear a burqa or a

The
official religion in Afghanistan is Islam, which is practised by over
99% of its citizens. As high as 90% of the population follow Sunni
Islam. The remaining are Shias. Apart from Muslims, there are also
small minorities of Sikhs and Hindus.
Afghanistan
contains some of the worlds oldest and most beautiful natural
attractions, for example the Gardens of Babur, and the Qargha
Reservoir. It also contains beautiful architecture such as the
National Museum of Afghanistan, the great Mosque of Herat and the
Kabul Zoo. Afghanistan is surely a beautiful country in many ways as
it attracts tourists from all over the world!
